About Newmarket VM

With a score of 83.5 points, including 8.5’s for canter, reflexes, technique and talent as a showjumper, Newmarket VM is one of the most striking young stallions.
Newmarket VM seems to be suitable for many different mares as he has an appealing and very correct conformation. Newmarket VM has a beautiful front, a great topline and a strong foundation. In the KWPN Performance Test he stood out for his great attitude and excellent rideability. He also has a very balanced canter and jumps in the same technique time and time again. Newmarkt VM was praised for his excellent use of the body and front-end technique, combined with scope and intelligence.
Sire –
Sire Chacoon Blue himself jumped at Grand Prix level with Germany’s Philip Rüping and already at a young age he stood out for his fantastic technique and good reflexes. As a son of Chacco Blue, Chacoon Blue is one of the most interesting and sought-after stallions of Paul Schockemöhle’s breeding stud. In breeding, Chacoon Blue’s offspring are notable for their excellent way of jumping and athletic ability; not surprisingly, he already has about fifteen approved sons and his oldest offspring make a good impression in the young horse competitions.
With the blood of top-class sire Numero Uno and the endless scope of great-grandsire Carthago, a strong foundation is laid in the pedigree of Newmarket VM. Grandsire Numero Uno produced many 1.60m showjumpers, but also seems to leave his mark on breeding as a damsire.
Dam –
Newmarket VM goes back to the famous Nomana damline – traditionally one of the most successful breeding lines in the Netherlands and the damline of Darco. Newmarket VM’s damline also produced the 1.60m showjumpers It’s the Business ridden by Geoff Glazzard, Opium 2 ridden by Katharina Offel and Van Schijndel’s Now or Never ridden by Piet Raijmakers, as well as Team Nijhof’s own top sire Zambesi TN.
