About Gracieux H.A.P

Approved in 2020 in the Danish Warmblood stallion selection. Gracieux is a very unique stallion with a special pedigree. He jumps with suppleness, caution and has a super technique. He is fine in type with a strong top-line and good expression. He has good rideability and passed his 10 day test with the following comments - Good walk and riding ability under rider. Powerful, spacious, well balanced and energetic gallop with good impulsion.

Sire: His sire Grim St. Clair was successful up to Grand Prix under Thomas Velin. He achieved clear rounds in all 25 of his Grand Prix starts and placed 8th in the 2009 Las Vegas World Cup Jumping Final. The Velin family bred five horses sired by Grim St. Clair of which four were in the finals at the French Young Horses Championship. The first crop of foals in Denmark came in 2017, where Grim St. Clair proved to be a fantastic Sire producing large framed, noble foals with lots of quality. In the 2017 Danish Warmblood Elite Show his daughter Grazia was named 'Filly of the Year'.

Damline: His dam Selica by Casir Ask was selected for UVM in Zangersheide in 2006, and later in her career under Kristian Skovrider they won several 1.60m classes and the mare has the status of S-horse. Gracieux's granddam Lima has also jumped 1.60m classes and three of her offspring are S-horses in showjumping. His grand-granddam Martine also competed in 1.50m classes.
